Congratulations to all of our students who participated in our 2010 McKinley Science Fair. We have 24 projects that qualified for the district fair. Pictured to the left are Caden and Madelyn (kindergartners) who won a 1st place ribbon.
We have found three families that have sent three generations of students to McKinley Elementary! If you have three or more generations of students that attended McKinley, please let us know. Pictured below from left to right and oldest to youngest are: John Fontecchio, Tony Fontecchio, Dominic Fontecchio, Anthony Fontecchio, Trisha Konty, Sharon Linam (Trisha's mother), Tyler Konty, Makenzie Konty, and Eric Meigs. Not pictured are Eric's granddad, and father (Chad Meigs).
Our school has 476 newly installed solar panels on our rooftops! The company that installed them, John Q Builders, had them fully operational December 22. There will be a monitor in the front lobby which will show the amount of energy being saved/produced by the solar panels.
